It isn’t a 100% correlation but it might be helpful if you can remember (or jot down) where your dog has found spots so you can check there again (I didn’t do this as I went along and later regretted it). One thing that I noticed going through the hunt is that once you’ve identified spots in your specific game, they will tend to repeat for different items and also bone fossils. I also was very surprised to find 4 gold bars in random places, each worth R$1000. There are also lots of small coin sacks worth R$25 (found 30+). Yes, there will be funny “prizes” ~ mine included tennis balls, potatoes, carrots, dog treats, and canned ham & pizza. I don’t know if that is typical or not, but perhaps as more people complete their skeletons, we’ll find out.Įven though it seems like the fossil bones are the “real prize” I would still recommend digging up as many spots as your dog can find. However, I also found at least 1 or 2 bone fossils in areas where my dog did not “alert” first but we found it using the “search” command. Others have already shared this helpful tip, which I also recommend: if your dog automatically alerts with a “?” thought bubble when entering a new area/location, that is the signal that you will dig up a bone fossil once your dog and you find the exact spot. I did not see/find any clues or other help from any of the in-game characters. You will need to look EVERYWHERE, repeatedly, and over the course of many game days. ![]() □ (I did not manage to hide the bits on my first try, so trying again here! □)īLUF: Finishing the dinosaur is challenging and will require a lot of patience and perseverance but it’s possible, so don’t give up!ĭig spots sniffed out by your dog for fossil bones and other prizes seem to be randomly placed for each player, making each scavenger hunt unique.ĭigs in my game were located ALL over Sasquatch’s universe. If you made it this far thanks a lot for reading, and if you have any questions or comments, let me know down below.FYI I’ve marked this post with the spoiler tag, but not everything here is spoiler-y and hopefully I’ve correctly hidden the actual spoiler bits. As the museum owner said, “the winds change every day, so some days, your dog will get a scent and other days your dog will not” if you use the magnifying glass to make your dog search, you will get anything except for a dinosaur bone. This is a 100% guarantee to find a bone, but you will have to get to the area that does that first. Your dog will then point to the area that the bone is located. Right after entering an area, your dog will I think of a question mark, and then a shovel. There is a way to know if there are dinosaur bones in an area or not. ![]() I have not found all of the bones yet, I have 5. ![]() I will say that usually, Dino bones are found together, but bones being spread out is what makes it challenging and fun. I don’t know about everyone else, but I like a challenge, and finding bones will take a while, but it’s going to be totally worth it in the end. Anyways, ever since the new update came out, there seems to be a lot of alarmed and unhappy posts about dinosaur bones and where to find them. This post is probably going to get downvoted, but I don’t really care, I just want to get this out there. ![]()
